Anthony Fenton is an independent researcher and journalist based in BC, Canada, and is a member of the Canadian Freelance Union (CEP Local 2040). The co-author of Canada in Haiti: Waging War on the Poor Majority, he is working toward the completion of his second and third books. Fenton has a BA in Political Science from the University of Alberta (2002), and has been conducting independent research and journalism since 2003. He will begin an MA in the Department of Political Science at York University later this year. His work has been published by Inter Press Service (IPS), Asia Times Online, The Dominion, Foreign Policy in Focus, Mother Jones, Upside Down World , This Magazine, and Courrier International among others. Fenton has appeared on CBC television and radio, Al Jazeera English, and frequents several independent radio shows to discuss Canadian and U.S. foreign policy.
